Hunter Valley Bridge Install #2 - Completed March 2007
The second 80 foot bridge installation was completed by volunteers in March 2007. Unlike the first bridge installation, the weather was great despite a bit if snow still on the ground! Again we had over 30 volunteers attend the work weekend and The Second Gear Club once again donated hot dogs, refreshments and even some entertainment!
These bridges take more then just one weekend to prepare. Often times it takes at least two to three months for a crew of people to organize and prep the construction site then gather materials and volunteers. Machinery, tools and transportation for the them also needs to be coordinated by project leaders and volunteers.

Thankfully SRD was able to provide $20,000 towards the installation of the four bridges!
